Jio recharge & Airtel — frequently asked
Six questions that cover most of what users ask. If something is missing, reach support at support@jioairmob.com.
How long does a top-up take to reflect on my SIM?
Jio mobile recharges typically activate within 2–5 minutes once payment clears. Airtel prepaid plans usually activate within 1 minute. JioHome FTTH and landline plans may take up to 15 minutes during peak hours. If nothing has changed after 30 minutes, contact support.
Which payment methods are accepted?
Visa and Mastercard debit and credit cards. Other networks (Amex, Discover, JCB) are not enabled at this time. UPI, net banking, and wallets are not supported on this site.
Why does Airtel require me to choose a plan but Jio does not?
Airtel sells fixed prepaid packs — each pack defines its own data, validity, and call rules. Jio prepaid mobile lets you add any amount to the wallet, and the operator deducts as you use services. We mirror both behaviours faithfully on the recharge page.
Can I recharge a JioHome FTTH connection here?
Yes — pick the Jio operator on step one, then enter the JioHome voice / fixed landline number or the 12-digit account / Service ID on step two. The same checkout handles JioHome plan top-ups. For Airtel broadband, please use Airtel's own portal — we cover only Airtel prepaid mobile.
Do you handle Jio or Airtel postpaid bills?
No. JioAirMob is a prepaid recharge service: prepaid mobile, JioHome / fixed landline, and 12-digit account top-ups. Postpaid bill payment (Airtel Postpaid, JioPostpaid Plus) must be done through the official operator portal or app.
What happens if my recharge fails after I paid?
If the operator does not credit the balance within 30 minutes, your transaction is automatically refunded to the original card. You will receive a refund email with the reference. See the Refund Policy for full timelines.
